1) Is there any special story to why you chose your favorite tattoo? Well I chose a little bird, that resembles the little birds that are always there for princesses in Disney Movies, Like Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. Sometimes I get overly critical of myself, and I start to question my worth and value, this little birdy reminds me every day, that I am Worthy of whatever it is I want or dream for myself, or whatever good thing that life gives me.
2) Do you have any other tattoos? If so, what do you have and where? Yes, I have some lovely roses on my back right shoulder, a bouquet of of California Poppies and a Sunflower on my left leg, a tiny little anchor on my foot, and a larger anchor on the back of my right leg that has my wedding date on it. 3) How do your family and friends feel about your tattoo(s)? Have you run into any adversity or negativity because of them? My mom always cringes and communicates how much she hates each tattoo I get, but over time she learns to accept them and even appreciate them. Other than that, they have never been an issue as far as negativity goes.
4)What's the most interesting experience you've ever had in regards to your tattoos? Well, one time, I was mistaken for a girl who worked at a tattoo shop while I was waiting for the artist to finish his sketch. I was sitting at the coffee nedt sure, and this college aged dude.. told me "congrats on the new tattoo shop!" lol I said, " Oh, haha, I don't work there or anything" and he said " Oh well you look like you would because of your hair!" Hahahaha.. it was so funny! I had a weird conversation for a few minutes after that with him, and he seemed to think I was at least 10 years younger than I actually am, so I was okay with it! LOL
5) What is your least favorite part of being tattooed? My favorite part of being tattooed is that I have these pretty pieces of art that make me so happy to see that are always with me and always in my eye shot! My advice for people who are not tattooed who want to get one, is be very picky about what you want and get exactly that, don't settle, and spend the extra money to get something that is going to be beautiful and well done-- don't go for something just because it's cheap-- I have one like that, and its pretty ugly, I will probably have to pay more money to get it covered up someday.
6)What is the best tattoo after care advice you have received? If you wake up in the morning after your session and your clothing is stuck to where that tattoo is, do not try to remove your clothing!! Get into the shower with that stuck clothing item on and get it wet, it will then come off easily.. if you try to pull it off, you will open so many wounds, it will really hurt, and you will probably damage your new ink.
7)What style of tattooing do you prefer? Are you more of a black & gray collector or is bright bold traditional more your speed? I really love american traditional styling. I love bright colors, and in every aspect of my life--I tend to go for things with an old school feel.
8) Do you have any “cover ups”? If you do, why did your get it covered? YES! The roses on my back covered up my first tattoo... which was a really poorly placed and poorly executed new-school style butterfly. It was very small and as it aged it faded into looking like a bruise from far away. Also I really wasn't a fan of any aspect of that tattoo... I got that on a random night and just picked it off a flash sheet from a random tattoo shop on a whim.
9) Do you have any other body modifications-- nope and I probably will never have any.. getting pierced scares me!
