I had the wonderful chance to review a dress for eshakti.com. I was familiar with the company, but had never shopped on the site, or tried on any of their dresses.
Since I love a more "retro" esthetic, sometimes it is hard to shop on a more modern site and still find the kind of dress or skirt that I like. That is where Eshakti is totally different. While there online store does have modern lines and newer looks, a lot of their dress and skirt are reminiscent of a more 1950's image. That is totally up my alley.
Not only does the company have a variety of patterns and designs, you have the ability to customize your clothing to your specific measurements. That means you plug in your height, bust, under bust, waist and hips measurements and the item you select will be tailored to fit your frame. That is a totally new shopping experience for me!
I was immediately drawn to the fun print of the spectacle dress. The glasses are just totally cute and just enough nerdy to win my heart. I didn't even realize it had POCKETS until I got it, and tried it on! A dress with a set of pockets is the best!
I paired my dress with a teal pair of strappy sandals by Jessica Simpson and called it a day. I hope you stop by the eShakti website and take a look. I am sure you will find something to tickle your fancy.
